About

Hello! Sadie here- Welcome to Planning More Adventures!

I am a sports medicine physical therapist who is also very drawn to and excited about exploring as many parts of the world as possible. With that said, our weekly life includes scheduled hours of non-travel related jobs and kid school schedules. We do not travel for a living but prioritize it in our yearly family plans.

I always appreciate and value the information I gather from other travel websites and it’s time for me to contribute. I also love to gather first-hand knowledge of the places I plan to visit from family, friends, and often patients. Nothing is better than talking about travel during a physical therapy session :). Because I love to talk travel, I also often get questions about the places we have traveled. In the past, I have always passed on the information via a good old Word document. The time has arrived to explore having a website!

This website is still very much in the early stages of production and I have a newfound appreciation for anyone who has put together a website, like really! Please feel free to reach out with feedback or other great tips worth adding to the destination pages!

Welcome!

This website was created to efficiently share practical travel planning tips based on our personal experiences.

I love discovering firsthand travel insights and enjoy passing them along to others. While the information here doesn’t cover every detail about a destination, it reflects what we’ve learned through planning and enjoying our own family vacations.

Our travels are rooted in a love for nature and adventure—we try to pack in as much as possible during each trip. I always tell my family, “You can relax for free when we get home!” So yes, our itineraries tend to be full, but they work well for us. That said, I’ll be adding a few more laid-back vacation options in the future for those who prefer a slower pace.

Like many families, we plan around real-life constraints—limited vacation days, school schedules, and a set travel budget. Sure, we still need to finish the basement… but sometimes, a trip to [destination] wins out!

Saint Augustine once said, “The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page.” I couldn’t agree more—I’d love to read the whole book!

Thanks so much for stopping by—I hope you find inspiration and helpful tips for your next adventure.

Happy planning!
